Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), name and business details you enter in Settings (store name and URL).
- Content: photos, logos and product details you upload, import or connect, and the videos we generate.
- Consent records: when you confirm you have rights to photos we store the time, your IP address and browser user agent.
- Shopify data: your shop domain, shop name, contact email and product data (titles, prices, descriptions, images). We do not request or store your customers' personal data or order data.
- Connected accounts: access tokens for social platforms you connect, and the IDs and links of posts we publish for you.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, subscription status and a customer ID; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and log data used for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.
How we use information
To provide and improve the Service, render and publish your videos, process payments, secure accounts (including preventing fraud and abuse), communicate with you about your account, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use your content to train third-party AI models.
How we share information
With service providers that help us operate (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), with platforms you connect when you ask us to publish, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Service providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security (CSRF protection). We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep your content while your account is active. Deleted videos are removed from your dashboard immediately and purged from storage within [30] days. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or other US states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Email support@clipmyproduct.com to make a request; we will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), salted password hashing, access controls and audit logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post updates here and notify you of material changes.
